TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY
The conditions I treat often involve significant changes in daily life, identity, and independence. My approach is collaborative and highly individualized, with an emphasis on helping you develop greater autonomy, confidence, and mastery over your symptoms—important foundations for meaningful recovery.
I integrate evidence-based approaches from neurology, psychiatry, and psychotherapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic methods, mindfulness, and clinical hypnotherapy. When appropriate, I also provide medication recommendations and coordinate care with your existing medical team.
My practice is intentionally small and highly specialized. Extended appointments allow time for careful record review, nuanced diagnostic formulation, and thoughtful integration of complex neurologic and psychiatric factors. Each treatment plan is developed individually rather than through a standardized or high-volume model of care.
This model is particularly well suited to patients with complex, overlapping neurologic and psychiatric symptoms, prior diagnostic uncertainty, or care that has felt fragmented across multiple specialties.

INITIAL CONSULTATION

Telehealth Session
I accept self-referrals as well as referrals from neurologists, psychiatrists and other health care professionals. Consultation appointments are conducted via HIPAA-compliant video (telemedicine).
Initial consultations typically last 60-90 minutes. During this session, we'll develop a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. You'll receive written recommendations following the visit.
